ICD-10 Training

On October 1, 2015 the United States and CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services – ) transitioned from ICD-9 to ICD-10. This transition effected all medical providers in the US and ultimately leaves a huge opportunity for training and auditing of physician practices’ coding for the coming years! The transition will raise the total potential diagnosis codes (ICD codes) from 40,000 to nearly 150,000 codes! Ultimately without the proper training, physicians will loose tens of thousands of dollars, potentially forcing them to close their practice or hire an agency that can assist with this transition.

Working with QCS your prospective clients have the comfort of knowing they will be trained to properly code utilizing ICD-10 methods.
